Technology Unites Moms + Conversations
From San Francisco to Brooklyn, Moms use the latest video technology to tackle the tender, touchy and even tough topics around parenting in 2010.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ, April 25, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Moms have something to say--and they are saying it--on Momversation.com, a new video show and website that's all about what's on moms' minds.
Now, through the latest multimedia technology this blog website has found ways to connect moms and conversations from anywhere, to talk about anything, anytime.
Twice weekly, four moms among a "mom panel" of twelve contributors, (which includes Heather Armstrong of dooce.com, Alice Bradley of Finslippy.com, and Daphne Brogdon of CoolMom.com, along with nine others) speak their mind about a specific topic in a five-minute video that anyone can then view and add comments.
Amazingly, all members of the panel live in different cities across the U.S., but, thanks to technology, are able to create a seamless conversation in which anyone can add their perspective.
Momversations include the latest tough topics: "Do You Ask Your Parents or Your Friends for Parenting Advice?" and "When is it OK for Kids to Use a Public Bathroom by Themselves?" Where mom Dana Loesch (of mamalogues.com) asks the question and then shares her safety concern about letting her young sons use public men's restrooms alone. Loesch gets heady responses from panelists and other moms in humorous, no-nonsense style moms can appreciate.
Anyone can participate in these conversations, share thoughts and experiences, or, start new discussions in the Momversation forums.
