Jersey Shore Pirates Honors All Who Serve in our Military on Memorial Day Weekend

Company to offer a 20% discount to all military on Memorial Day Weekend

BRICK, NJ, May 26, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Jersey Shore Pirates is the most unique form of family entertainment at the Jersey Shore. The Sea Gypsy, the area's newest off-shore vessel, sets sail daily from its home port on the Metedeconk River, Brick. Young pirates and their families will enjoy an authentic adventure and leave with unforgettable memories.

From May 29 through May 31, 2010 Jersey Shore Pirates is offering a 20% discount with a valid military ID. The entire pirate crew thanks all US military men and women for their service and looks forward to traveling the high seas with such great patriots.

Before setting sail, mini mates and their families learn the rules of the Sea Gypsy pirate ship. They also have an opportunity to dress-up like pirates, dance the Pirate Limbo, drink Pirate Pete's grog, get face-painted with pirate tattoos, and learn some pirate lingo and history before setting sail.

Every trip on the Sea Gypsy includes an interactive treasure hunt on the high seas. All young pirates have the opportunity to read treasure maps, discover secret messages in a bottle, and work as a team to defeat an enemy pirate who's stolen the keys to their treasure. The culmination of the adventure, for some kids, includes manning the Sea Gypsy's famous water cannons and hoisting the sunken treasure chest (of course, where 'X marks the spot!').
