Wales Holds The TP Toys Face of Active Fun!
For the past three months, TP Toys, the leading outdoor activity toy manufacturer, has been looking to frame the Face of Active Fun by searching for a certain little somebody to front their 2011 brochure...Now the wait is over!
WORCESTERSHIRE, WEST MIDLANDS, UK, July 08, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- For the past three months, TP Toys, the leading outdoor activity toy manufacturer, has been looking to frame the Face of Active Fun by searching for a certain little somebody to front their 2011 brochure...Now the wait is over! When the competition came to a close back in June and the finalists were announced, friends, family and other supporters rallied around each and every finalist in a bid to secure them the most votes. We can now reveal that Rio Slater, from Wales has been chosen as the nation's favourite to be crowned TP Face of Active Fun!
Not only has Rio won the competition to feature in the 2011 TP Toys brochure, but he has also won GBP1,000 worth of TP Toys! He will be invited along to a professional photo shoot this summer to have his picture taken for the catalogue and will also be presented with a framed copy of the shoot as a memento. Now isn't that quite a prize for an unknown little boy from Wales?!
Rio beat off stiff competition from five other finalists in order to become the National winner and Rio's mum describes it as 'a dream come true'. She comments "We're over the moon and the whole family are extremely proud that Rio has won the competition. He is such a little character, always smiling, giggling and a joy to have around and we're so happy that he won. Rio with the help of his brother Ross and sister Keira are excited that they can choose which toys they want from the TP Toys website and brochure, top of his wish list is a trampoline. Rio and the rest of our family would like to thank everyone that took the time to vote for him".
