Brett M. Calland Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Brett Calland earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) from Valparaiso University
VALPARAISO, IN, October 13, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Brett Calland, Therapist and Executive Office Manager for Waterleaf LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mental health counseling.
The executive office manager at Waterleaf LLC, Mr. Calland is also a practicing therapist, with a gift for couples counseling. At the counseling center, he meets with clients most evenings during the week, and handles the practices' insurance billing and major office work. He is also an adjunct professor at Valparaiso University, involved with instructing in the CORE program for the past six years. Meeting with students four days a week, he teaches a discussion based class for first year students. Mr. Calland has nine years of experience working with students from middle school through college, and understands the importance of life's many transitions as an opportunity to support positive change.
In 2008, Mr. Calland graduated from Valparaiso University, where he earned his second Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on faith in therapy. He is also the recipient of a Master of Arts in History from Ball State University. He completed his undergraduate coursework at Manchester College, double majoring in History and 6th through 12th Grade Education. Mr. Calland has become an integral part of Waterleaf LLC, a private practice that recognizes faith as an asset in counseling.
