Susan Silbar Duman Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

Susan Silbar Duman celebrates 26 years as a licensed clinical social worker and therapist for The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis

    HIGHLAND PARK, IL, October 13, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Susan Silbar Duman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist for The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in child development.

With 26 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker and therapist for The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, Susan Silbar Duman is responsible for conducting therapy sessions at a children's clinic and working with people in the Noble Street Charter Schools of Chicago. Prior to her current profession, Ms. Durman was a full-time teacher for four years and a substitute teacher for 10 years. She became involved in her profession because working as a teacher inspired her to help children on a greater level, and she attributes her success to her effective relationship-building skills.

Ms. Duman received her Master of Arts from The University of Chicago in 1978. In addition to her formal education, she became a certified child adolescent psychotherapist in 1989. She is also a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed clinical therapist and a member of The Women's Board of the University of Chicago.

The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis is an education and research institute that provides therapeutic services and treatment for children and adults.
