Barbara Rogers-Wade Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Barbara Rogers-Wade attributes her success to her ability to listen to children
MIAMI, FL, November 01, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Barbara Rogers-Wade, Youth At-Risk Coordinator for the City of Miami Department of Parks & Recreation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in child interaction.
As a youth at-risk coordinator for the City of Miami Department of Parks & Recreation Ms. Barbara Rogers-Wade is responsible for mentoring students and children, assigning children to groups, and designing and proposing programs including fundraisers. She became involved in her profession through meeting at-risk youth in Chicago, and she attributes her success to her ability to listen to children.
Ms. Rogers-Wade received a master's degree from Governors State University in 1975. She is a member of AAUW, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, NAACP, Giraffe Organization and Urban League.
