DEVORE HEIGHTS, CA, November 30, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Darcee S. Gollatz-Klapp, Chief Executive Officer of Gollatz Cotillion, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in social manners and etiquette education.
Ms. Klapp has led a successful 35+ year career. She is the CEO of the Gollatz Cotillion Inc., family-owned and operated since 1932. In her position, she aids families in creating lasting memories in etiquette training and social graces. Ms. Klapp is the Gollatz family's third generation of instructors. She teaches social protocol classes to children in kindergarten through eighth grade; students are educated on appropriate dress, dining manners, dancing, social behavior, and new to the program, "Social Teas."
A member of her local Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Klapp is the Vice President of DRPA. She is also active with the Sunrise Community Church and The Salvation Army. In the future, Ms. Klapp intends to transform her family's business into an opportunity for franchise endeavors.
Gollatz Cotillion has instructed as many as 4,000 children in a single year. Students are accepted by invitation or referral only, and courses are held at private country clubs, yet nonmembers may also attend. In 2010, Gollatz Cotillion was nominated for the Disney I-Parenting Award for Continuing Child Education.
