Dr. Germaine J. Phillip earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida
GAINESVILLE, FL, November 11, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Germaine J. Phillip, Ph.D., Retired Educator, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
After teaching for 42 years, Dr. Phillip has acquired an expertise in student relations. She taught reading skills to elementary-level students, and French to high school and college students. She lends her career accomplishments to the support she received from her father.
In 1998, Dr. Phillip received a Ph.D. in early childhood education from the University of Florida. She is a member of the Gainesville Woman's Club, the Gainesville chapter of the Lynx and the AAUW. She is also a former president of the Alachua County Retired Educators Association. She spends her free time volunteering for the Caring and Sharing Charter School. Dr. Phillips intends to remain active as a volunteer in her community.
