Maureen MacDonald-Stein is the leader of her company's America's Commercial Women Connect Organization
SHOREWOOD, IL, November 24, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Maureen MacDonald-Stein, Regional General Manager for the Special Business Unit at SABIC Innovative Plastics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
With 18 years of field experience, Mrs. MacDonald-Stein first entered her profession as a sales intern. For the past four years, she has been employed by SABIC Innovative Plastics Holding BV. She serves as the regional general manager of sales and marketing. In her position, she is responsible for handling sales and managing 20 individuals from varying geographic regions of the world. Ms. MacDonald-Stein attributes her success to her hard work, tenacity and focus on her customers.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and sciences. She is the leader of the America's Commercial Women Connect Organization and encourages the recruitment of female employees. Ms. MacDonald-Stein was honored with an Engage Award in 2009 and has been named her company's MVP of Marketing five times. In her free time, she coaches a youth basketball team for YMCA. Her goal is to become focused on the global aspects of her industry.
