Patricia S. Nichols Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Patricia S. Nichols's love for sharing and teaching has made her a successful writer
NEW BERN, NC, November 4, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Patricia S. Nichols, currently a student at the Institute of Children's Literature, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pursuit of her writing studies.
After receiving a diploma from Eastside High School in Paterson, NJ in 1977, Patricia S. Nichols earned credentials in an early childhood associate program at Wilson Technical Community College in 2000. This led to work as a lead caregiver of toddlers, assistant to the director, and liaison spokesperson of two child development centers, six family home cares and four preschool classes. These experiences inspired Patricia to write stories for children to help ease them into the demands of school. Thus, her enrollment at the Institute of Children's Literature, where she received diplomas in writing for children and teenagers, and creating & selling short stories & articles from the Institute of Children's Literature. Looking ahead, Patricia also hopes to write novels.
Ms. Nichols is a certified and background screened notary signing agent through the National Notary Association, and a notary public in the State of North Carolina. She is a former certified CPR instructor through the American Red Cross, and she completed the U.S. Navy Standardized Caregiver Training Program in Brunswick, ME in 1992. In 2006, she served as a facilitator of the Fibromyalgia Support Group in New Bern, NC. She has served as an intervention volunteer and has volunteered with The American Red Cross, as well as at a women's shelter. Ms. Nichols has two daughters and two grandsons.
