Schnucks Ladue Crossing Hanukkah Celebration Set for November 30

17th Annual Free Event Offers Free Hanukkah Storytelling, Singing, and Free Gifts for Kids

    ST. LOUIS, MO November 24, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- A special Hanukkah singing presentation and storytelling for children will be featured at the annual Hanukkah Celebration to be held 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 at Schnucks Ladue Crossing shopping center, I-170 at Ladue Road. The event will take place at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers.

The Hanukkah Celebration features students of the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy performing a number of Hanukkah songs and an Epstein teacher leading youngsters in a Hanukkah story telling session.

All children will receive a free gift of traditional Hanukkah chocolate "gelt" (gold coins). Hanukkah begins the evening of December 1 and is an eight-day celebration of the Festival of Lights.

The Hanukkah Celebration is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the friendly merchants at Schnucks Ladue Crossing including Schnucks, Barnes & Noble, Cobblestone Shoe Repair, Creve Coeur Camera, Crown Optical, Fannie May, Globe Cleaners, Great Clips, Jenny Craig, Ladue Nails, Maggie Moo's, OfficeMax, Old Navy, Oreck Clean Home, Pew Wei Asian Diner, Prints Charming Gallery, Spicer's, and Treats Unleashed. The event is hosted by The DESCO Group, the developer and property management company for the center.
