Giovanna Bernardi works to make a difference in the lives of obese children
GRAYSLAKE, IL, December 23, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Dr. Giovanna Bernardi, President and Founder of YnotMe, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in wellness services.
Dr. Bernardi has 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist. As the president and founder of YnotMe, she spreads awareness of the danger of child obesity. With a strong belief that providing a well-structured program will impact the lives of obese children, she works with a dietician and a physical therapist to help children handle weight issues. According to Dr. Bernardi, children are the seeds of the future, and she strives to prepare a successful path for them.
Dr. Bernardi received a Ph.D. in psychotherapy from Governors State University. She was honored with the distinction of Italian-American Woman of the Year in 1997. She volunteers her spare time to a homeless and battered women's shelter. In the future, Dr. Bernardi hopes to turn her program into a franchise.
