Annette M. Zavada Recognized by Leading Professional Organization

Annette M. Zavada teaches Family Literacy, History, Early Childhood Education and Combination and Transitional Classroom

    BRIDGEPORT, NJ, April 27, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ --Annette M. Zavada, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in elementary education.

Specialized in Language Arts and Art Instruction, Annette M. Zavada is recognized for nearly three decades of demonstrated commitment in education. Ms. Zavada has taught Family Literacy, Combination Classroom, Transitional Classroom and Early Childhood. She has also directed and taught in the after school program at Hallen Elementary School as well as Participated in the Bridgeport public schools YARC program for young authors. Prior to joining Hallen, she taught on the Colville Indian reservation, in Nespelem, Washington for five years, and six years in Lafayette, Louisiana. For her professional dedication, Ms. Zavada received the State Mentor Award was named Cambridge Who's Who 2008 "Professional of the Year in Elementary Education." This title is reserved for only the top experts in each field who have exhibited professional and academic achievement.

Ms. Zavada holds a bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education from Southern Connecticut State University, along with 63 Graduate credits of which twenty seven are in Special Education. She is affiliated with the Bridgeport Education Association, Connecticut Education Association, New Jersey Education Association and National Education Association. Ms. Zavada is also an artist and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Studio Art at Kean University, with one year to go.
