Peter Hibbard Recognized for Leadership and Excellence in Education
Peter Hibbard aims to help qualified teachers remain competitive in the field
TOMS RIVER, NJ, April 20, 2010 /Children and Youth PR News/ --Peter Hibbard, Educational Supervisor for Richard Stockton College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in educational services.
After nearly three decades as a biology teacher, Peter Hibbard decided it was time to pursue a career in adult education, specifically in the field of science education. Today, he thrives in his third year as an Educational Supervisor for Richard Stockton College. With specialized knowledge in environmental science, he supervises student teachers and assists them as they gain professional training in secondary science instruction. Driven by the mission to help qualified teachers remain competitive in the field, he is proud to lend his services to an institution boasting over 7,000 undergraduate students and a staff comprised of distinguished faculty including Pulitzer Prize-winning Stephen Dunn.
With a master of education from Rowan University, a master's degree in environmental science from Rutgers University, and a bachelor of science in biology from Rutgers, Mr. Hibbard will seek to pursue a Ph.D. as he moves forward in his career. He is a member of the New Jersey Education Association, National Education Association, ASCD, The American Legion and the Single Action Shooting Society. Additionally, he is a U.S. Army veteran who served as first lieutenant, Medical Services Corps, from 1971 to 1973.
