Athletic Director Scores With His Selection By Stanford Who's Who
Harold Payne has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational work in the Sports and Recreation Industry.
COLUMBIA, MD, August 5, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Harold Payne has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational work in the Sports and Recreation Industry. As Director of Jaguars Athletic Organization, as well as throughout his incredible 33 plus years in the business, Mr. Payne has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Founded in 1978, the Jaguars Athletic Organization was originally designed to develop a "select" traveling basketball program for 10 through 14 year old boys in Howard County, Maryland. As of 1983, the organization expanded to include youth from the Baltimore/Washington area. The Jaguars are associated with the Amateur Athletic Union and Youth Basketball of America.
The Jaguars have participated in local, state, regional and national tournaments in AAU and YOBA. Their teams have been the winners of local, state and regional championships in both organizations. The Jaguars won the YBOA National championship in 1993 as well as numerous Baltimore/Washington area-wide league and tournament championships.
Mr. Payne is an accomplished coach and director. He possesses extraordinary expertise in the areas of management and leadership. During his educational career, he earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota. Harold is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the former Director of the Maryland State YBOA, the Potomac Valley AAU and Maryland State AAU.
