Enter the End Bullying Now! Contest
The End Bullying Now! Contest begins tomorrow. Submit your video entries starting Friday, July 15, 2011 thru Sunday, July 31, 2011 to win great prizes and gain national exposure.
FOSTER CITY, CA, July 16, 2011 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- Earlier this year, two teenage girls committed suicide because of bullying based on body size. The story was short lived in the media, but the issue remains. Kids are still being bullied because of their size.
Some people have taken steps to stop the bullying against certain groups of children, but no one has spoken up for the chubby kid or the very short kid or the tall skinny kid who gets teased and bullied incessantly because of their body size. Well, we're speaking up for you!
NAAFA announces their End Bullying Now! Contest for kids who are being bullied because of the size or shape of their bodies. Are you between the ages of 6 and 18? Have you ever been bullied because of your body size? We'd like to challenge you to create a 30-60 second video public service announcement (PSA) that illustrates your personal experience with bullying.
We're giving away cool prizes and the top three videos will be featured at the National Press Club in Washington, DC in August. So go to our website at www.naafa.org to read all the rules and requirements then start shooting! Submit your videos and all the necessary consent forms beginning July 15 thru July 31, 2011. You can be part of the solution!
