NBA Champion Dirk Nowitzki, Toyota and Children's Cancer Research Fund Team Up this Holiday Season for the Joy and Future of Our Children
Light Up The Nation is a unique holiday program benefiting both the donor and a child in the hospital. For a $50 donation, the donor will receive a holiday bear and a matching bear will be given to a child in a participating hospital nationwide.
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 22, 2011 /Children and Youth PR News/ -- The Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) has launched the Light Up The Nation campaign and website (www.lightupthenation.org) - a unique holiday giving program benefitting both the donor and a child in the hospital. From now until the end of the year, both individuals and corporations can participate and bring a smile to a child in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment. For each $50 donation, the donor will receive Harry the Holiday Conductor Bear. As Harry arrives at the donor's doorstep, a matching bear will also be sent to a child at participating hospitals, nationwide. In addition, the donor's name will adorn a gift tag on the CCRF Christmas Tree or Menorah on www.LightUpTheNation.org.
With participating hospitals in almost every state, children around the nation will be recipients of Harry the conductor bear. Thanks to generous sponsors and volunteers, 100% of every $50 donation goes directly to funding pediatric oncology research.
